O'Sister, you got it right, this song could play forever.

class act - please DO NOT change your look! It is so well-branded, sharp and indicative of an earlier era in music - an era ABOUT musicianship and performance. A sharp dressed woman, kicking ass on stage and on screen.

Two things please:

1.) Man, Toronto Canada would love to have you for World Pride 2014 (I speak on behalf on my city of 40 years - I'm certain they'd welcome you with the most massive of open arms). Can you imagine singing at probably one of the biggest celebrations, EH-VER. :)))

2.) This WHITE girl LOVES LOVES how happy everyone is in your Tightrope video. This is not me racial profiling - this is me so DELIGHTED to see this sort of thing on television for a change - the media soooo often portrays blacks so differently. You were all BEAMING smiles together and moving to the beats joyfully. As the viewer, I was drinking it in. It's probably some of the most genuine happy sh*t I've seen in video in ages. Add sweet choreography and some beautiful beautiful horns... and it's game over.

Kudos. xo

Wishing you all the success and joy that comes with it.

without a doubt, you are MUSIC. I'm a fan.

Just discovered your greatness. Excuse my ignorance but I am here on out a HUGE fan. What you do on stage in "Tightrope" is a wonderfully tasteful homage to the likes of James Brown, Jackie Wilson and many of the others who have come before us. I'm only 22 and I recognize and appreciate this. Thank you for guiding us back to TRUE music filled with wonderfully composed sounds and thoughtfully constructed lyrics. --Stephanie "MusiqTruth", 22, nc-sc

I actually like this version more than the original. ^_^

This video isn't that good all. Y'all gotta get last night's performance from So You Think You Can Dance on up here! THAT was something special to watch and see. I haven't seen anything that entertaining, pretty and talented in years. I hadn't catched Janelle's name when it was announced before she performed and it took me forever to find out.

I was sure when I found her on the net I'd find a treasure full of mindblowing songs and music videos but I sure ain't finding a treasue of Janelle Monae here. My question is WHY NOT!? After last night's performance on SYTYCD she's proved she's got what it takes to be a long lasting star.

Blessing and I wish you the best Janelle! You really gave us a special performance. I thank you and your band.

The a way to ruin a perfectly good (hell, BRILLIANT) song with this lowest-common-denominator remix.Janelle, the song and the album are all FAR better and deserve more than that. But hey...if it sells a few more copies of "ArchAndroid", it's all good.

Awesome! Three of the MOST innovative minds of our time on the same track telling others it's okay to different! I love it!
