With New York Fashion Week finally kicked off, Janelle Monàe made a classy red carpet appearance at the annual amFar New York City gala at the Cipriani Wall Street on Wednesday night. The charity event was hosted by actress Sarah Jessica Parker and Ms. Monae hit the stage to perform a few of her songs.
amfAR, The Foundation for AIDS Research, is a non-profit organization dedicated to the support of AIDS research, HIV prevention, treatment education, and the advocacy of sound AIDS-related public policy.
